Abstract: Arab-Islamic culture has known contributions by Arabs and Muslims notable in the history of human thought in general and the history of taxonomic thought in particular, which is recorded on the pages of historical books. (260 AH / 874 AD-339 AH / 950 AD) was one of the leading Muslim philosophers during the second Abbasid era (232 AH-447 AH), who studied a range of sciences and had many ideas and opinions in various fields, as Al-Farabi was particularly distinguished in explaining the works of Aristotle Therefore, he was called the second teacher, and he has had many important scientific and cognitive literature that is still the first reference for many researchers. Accordingly, we tried to interrogate his valuable book, "Science Statistics."One of the important books, especially for science students, with the aim of showing the movement of the sciences of his time, knowing that he presented in the introduction to his book the purpose of its development, as well as dealing with the sciences with their divisions and branches, dealing with each of them with definition and specification of the topic and thus it became clear to classify them in a special way that came according to his philosophical conception of knowledge and the division of sciences keen on the principle of sequencing And the logical arrangement. Consequently, by introducing and exposing the useful sciences and knowledge, Al-Farabi contributed to drawing a map of a distinguished taxonomic work during the fourth century AH.
